If you want to get active but can’t commit to a membership, then this is the option for you. You don’t have to join to use our great facilities, you just Pay & Play every time you visit.
Pay & Play is ideal if you want to try before you decide on a membership, you’re looking to use us on an occasional basis or if you are in town for a short period for work or visiting friends.
Pay & Play customers can book for activities 7 days in advance with payment made at the time of booking.

Remember if you’re using us on a more regular basis or taking part in more than one activity every time you visit, then it might be more beneficial and better value for you to upgrade to a membership.
How to join as a Pay & Play customer
If you are not a member and wish to ‘pay as you go’, please register your details by following the step by step guide below.
- Select the gym which will be your main centre
- Select your membership – Leisure Card Adult or Leisure Card 60+ (please note under 16s must apply on site)
- Complete the About you section
- Click ‘Next step – Payment’ (please note this is a free membership and you will not be charged anything at this point)
- Due to security reasons on our paid memberships, you will be asked to enter your address again.
- Please confirm you have read our Terms and Conditions and Health Declaration.
- Select ‘Confirm & Pay’
- You will then receive a confirmation email
- Within the email, please follow the link to create a password for our online member zone
- Once you have set a password, you can pre-book classes and courts within 7 days
- On your first visit to one of our facilities you are required to pick up a leisure card, this will allow you to gain access to some of our facilities
- You should present your card at reception at each visit
*If you are already registered on our system, a message will appear to say your email address is already in use. You will be directed to a page to log in. If you cannot remember your password you can reset it here. A link will be sent to the registered email address.
